Mercedes-Benz Car Models Within Indian Boundaries
Mercedes-Benz is popular around the world because of its technological innovation that involves smooth transmission speeds and stylish look. Countries like India have not been left behind in getting the car model through its bounders. Mercedes-Benz first arrived in India in 1994 with the E-Class first in the market. The car model has continued attracting many fans and buyers including politicians and prominent business men and women.
The Indian Mercedes-Benz Company based in Stuttgart has thrived through strong market forces to launch several Mercedes car models. To present date, the company manufactures 14 car models which are the A-Class, E-Class, E63 AMG, B-Class, C-Class, AMG GT, GLA, GL-Class, SLK, CLS, CLA, G-Class and S-Class. These car ranges come with different prices for the diverse Indian car market.
The Germany car maker has the largest car line-up in India than any other luxury car company in the country. Counting from the A-Class and advancing to the Mercedes-Benz S Guard which is Uber-exclusive, India’s Mercedes-Benz entire range costs between 26.1 Lakh to 8.9 Crore in Delhi. Most carmakers in India revisited their car prices earlier in the year and Mercedes-Benz India was not left behind in the new changes. After the announcement of the Union Budget 2016, an official statement from the India’s Benz Company on March 15, reported that the price of all the Mercedes-Benz cars in the country would increase by 3 to 5 percent.
Issues to do with infrastructure, luxury tax imposed on luxury vehicles and weakening of the Indian currency plus rise in input costs are the reasons said to be behind the price increment.
According to Mercedes-Benz India CEO, Roland Folger, the company has been on the forefront of producing luxury car experiences to customers in the country with the most advanced technology and products and state-of-the-art retail infrastructure. The company’s CEO added that Mercedes-Benz India offers superior services and great ownership experiences. The company has also invested immensely in the production facility to achieve its targets. Unexpectedly, the new introduction of additional taxes and duties in the year’s Union Budget has affected the India’s Stuttgart -based carmaker pricing.
Mercedes- Benz India has several financial schemes which can still help its discerning customers get their dream car even with the price revisions. These include Corporate STAR Lease, STAR Agility, STAR Lease and STAR Finance. The Indian carmaker has service programs like STAR Care, STAR Ease and STAR Care Plus including On Road Assistance programs which further promote customers’ overall ownership and affordability of their dream cars.
India’s car market is dynamic. The year 2015 is one that Mercedes-Benz India will remember. The Germany carmaker imported 15 new products in the country. This further propelled the company to the top as the largest luxury automotive manufacturer. The company’s growth curve is on the positive side and they are trying their best to stay on the forefront. India has car dealerships that sell used Mercedes cars for customers with strict budgets who also wish to experience the power and elegance of Benz models.
